Asuquomo is an internationally acclaimed songwriter, award winning creative director and multidisciplinary artist with Nigerian roots based in the capital of Canada. His musical works blend non-verbal spells with West African spirituals to create an unmistakable experience delivered through vivid storytelling. In 2020, he was awarded the Emerging Artist Award by Ottawa Arts Council x RBC as the first Afro Fusion artist to win. While making Exclaim! Canada’s Top 25 EP’s of 2020 for his “impactful pen” in creating ‘DIOBU’, Asuquomo anticipates the release of his debut album in 2022.
